I am wondering the same thing. Got a passenger side airbag and would like the 95-96 dash instead. Or cubby hole would fine for me. Would like it if someone knew what to do. I would really like to know how to do both - cubby hole or dash swap.

So you're keeping the stock steering wheel and want the lights in case there is a problem with it?

I've got a '95, I'm getting rid of my steering wheel at some point and just pulling the bulb since there won't be any airbags after that... Problem solved...
