I am new to the forum and need help. I have a 1990 Chevy Suburban R1500 2WD, one of the brake lines coming off the master cylinder has broken. I can replace it but do I have to buy something with all the coils in it or can I do something else?

The coils are there for a reason. The body is rubber mounted to the frame and flexes,if you don't have something to absorb that flex you get fatigue and failure. I just bend the tubing around a large socket but any hard round item will work. If you put something in a vise it is easier to wrap the tubing around it. I like the copper-nickel line it bends easy and resists rust.

Copper/nickle wrapped around a Mag light (flash light) handle.
