If I remember right, you can put a tiny socket on the top of the stud and spin the whole thing out.

Before the studs? I'm not out there now, probably won't be till tomorrow night at soonest, but looking at the picture it does look like there are flat spots. I'll try that when I get the chance

Yes, it has a hex on it, I think you can just spin the whole stud out, everyone I've had to pull has been stuck, I remember I badly boogered one up with some channel locks.

New upper intake bolts are on and torqued down. Not a huge update.

I have yet another question, though. Don't worry, project is nearing the end, so the questions shouldn't be around much longer, haha.

Are the little, black o rings in the right spot on the fuel pipe connection? I know that's where I pulled the old o rings off, but the new ones seem too big.

Does this ground/boot attach at the back of the alternator, where I have it positioned?

Sorry, forgot the picture:

Thank you, taking a closer look, I think the bolts may supposed to be like that.

Made a decent amount of progress today. I got the fuel lines connected, got the alternator on, bolted the ac compressor on, and got a few more electrical connections and lines/hoses hooked up.

Couple more questions:

1) anyone know off hand what this connects too? I have three connectors left (that I noticed), and the other two are for the air intake assembly. I just don't see where this one goes.

2) are these two tubes supposed to have anything connected to them, or are they pretty much breathers?

What's left:
- Timing
- Cap/ plug in plug wires and rotors
- Install belt
- Install air cleaner assembly
- Plug in last of connections
- Install battery
- Flush cooling system/ add coolant
- Change oil

The hoses are supposed to be hooked ot a hard line, one is the MAP sensor.

The connection I'm not too sure on.
