I think i understand the concept its just the whole making sure everythings straight. ive got to cut up to that body line that dips in. Where did you get the patch panel from? Ive found some on raybuck.com but im unsure of the quality because theyre only $40 a side.

I got mine from local parts store I well over paid and they were a little to short were the bottom is supposed to meet up with inner cab corners. Took a bit of swearing a few drinks and some tinkering. Im really leaning towards LMC Truck but at the end of the day all of these jober body panels are I'm sure are made at the same place in Taiwan. Sometimes it a crap shoot. Iv had to send parts back in the past I bought a jober door for 84 Chevy and the door jam gap was in spots 2" big I could stick my thumb in spots. On your cab corner your best to rework your damage as much as possible before you start cutting I always do my best to not disturb body lines. The body line on the jober cab corners suck really bad you'll know what I mean when you get yours. I'm going to check out your truck.

Ill keep that in mind. It barley got the bottom corner of the door and ill have to replace maybe 5-10" of the rocker. i think i can work the door to make it look decent but im probably going to bedliner it instead of painting. My truck has ALOT of red so i need something to break it up plus i can do a good bedliner job myself. I cant paint and make it look good, ive tried and it turned out terrible lol.

Edit: also its just getting a new bed. The floor is rusting out so theres no since in fixing that

I seen you said you need to replace 5-10 inches of your rocker. Id like to note for factory quality job you'll need to do all of your cab corner trimming first then before you weld in your cab corner you'll need to do your rocker as the rockers on these trucks slip in side that cab corners and are part of the door jam and then your new cab corner goes on. It's hard to explain you'll see what I'm talking about when you dig in. You tube SWRNC DIY with my friend PETE he's awesome he owns a body shop and does walk throughs on auto body work I'm addicted to his Channel.

Nice truck man. F@#$ mileage, take care of em and they'll outlast the driver.
Ya you bet specially these 90s Chevy's I have a few hard core ford guy friends L that even admit these 90s Chevy are unstoppable in how long they last. Maintenance is key some day mine will be professionally repainted and when it's done I bet I'll get more looks then that you highschool punk with his plastic dipped new truck and mines paid for. I'd like to redo it all back to original sept new billet Chevy grille with gold bowtie. A nice chrome bumper from LMC with driving lights nice polished 15"mags and new factory rear chrome bumper along with all new moldings. And possibly a small decal for the back window that says like a rock. Im the kinda a guy that doesn't like to go far away from original gota keep that classic feel in my opinion. I read the other day that the 88-98 GM trucks are becoming one of the most desirable body styles GM has ever produced. Witch means big Money in about 15-20 years for a mint one. I'd love to have a mint white 1993 454ss with blue interior yup I said blue interior very very very rare but they were made.

Drive it up, bring some food and beer and we can do it in my driveway. BTW, for really good, nice panels, I go to Classicparts.com They use Key brand parts, very good quality.
