Fitment of the dash panel was pretty good, my vent was tight on the far left side and i had to file the bezel a little bit, even tried 2 different vents and it was the same. As far as the clip go, the OEM clips will not work, they are too wide IIRC, but they won't work. I took the clips that came with my panel and opened them up a little for a tighter fit. The tight vent was the only fitment problem, the bezel looked good when installed. I am going to get some paint and make my bezel look oem and put back my original vents and cupholders and i really don't like the black, wish you could get the bezel in factory colors.

So how many of these have turned out good? I have a pioneer that I bought for a Ford that is itching to go in and I am pretty picky about the fit and finish when I put a product in my vehicles. I will custom paint so not worried about paint and texture but fitment.

Thanks
Brock

I picked up the mini kit which included the faceplate and brackets. I haven't had time to bond it on but doesn't fit bad. Color is good. Still have to cut back end to fit double din.

Working on installing the Metra DP-3003 and an Android head unit (ebay) but the head unit didn’t fit the opening in the bezel. The opening in the Metra bezel was only 6 ¾” wide and the head unit is 7” so I looked up the size of a DDIN radio, it is supposed to be 7”.

Anyone else that used the DP-3003 have this issue?

I ended up using a hot iron (Plastic Welding) and rolled the stiffening ridge over backwards to make the opening large enough for the radio, this way the bezel still had the stiffening edge to maintain its shape.

The radio opening in the new bezel is about 1/8" off center to the drivers side, don't really see any way to correct this except to trim the radio mount/clip down and sim the other side.

Not sure when I'll pull it out to do this,

I think my favorite app is Torque and Dash command with this new android head unit
