No, the headrests on the second row are wider and thicker than the third row headrests. If it is a leather headrest, an easy way to tell if it is a 3rd row head rest or a 2nd row headrest is by feeling the back of the headrest. The back of the 2nd row headrest should have a hard backing material while the 3rd row headrests are made out of foam.
Might explain why they are missing in mine. Seems like a lot of things that weren't firmly attached disappeared at some point late in my Suburban's life.
Your best bet is looking in the Sacramento and Rancho Cordova areas for good condition headrests. That's where majority of the good condition GMT400s go to die. Rock&Roll Auto Recycling in Pleasanton never gets any GMT400s, so don't even both trying to contact them. Try using www.car-part.com to locate some headrests. Search under the "Seat, Rear (2nd)" category instead of headrests to get a more broader search.
Personally, I wouldn't bother to search the pick-n-pulls just because you have to pay an admission fee (usually $2-$5) and the headrests themselves are only $5 a piece from most dismantlers. The only way I could justify going to the pick-n-pulls for some headrests is if you took the day, wore some overalls or cargo shorts, and picked the heck out of some GMT400 that just arrived on the lot. If you go on the second day, a lot of the desirable parts are already gone/destroyed, unfortunately.
If you extend your headrest and look on the inside you'll see a hole where you can insert something to release the headrest (I use an .080 pin to release the headrest). Pull up on the headrest then push in the pin to release the headrest.

Ok... So I have been watching these threads and now I have a stupid question.
I have a 94 Chevy Blazer Sport, that i spent 2 years re-doing (still tweaking) and bought new door panels and painted the whole interior to match. The clips tick me off, I can never find parts for the power window switch and bezel. So now I'm wondering if I can install the 95-98 Poor panels, and splice the harness to work. Has anyone done this?
