How low should one go?

I found that picture in another thread. Being they cut off a foot from the bottom of the truck, I'm assuming it's entirely non-functional and they were going for something crazy.

Obviously an exercise in going as low as possible by any means necessary, as something to show off with, proof of concept, etc. Entirely non-functional? I don't see why it has to be that. Good floor work and bags and it should be driveable and usable as pretty much any bagged truck.

One should go this low atleast once is their life.
Yeah baby! I came close with the '58 Apache dually diesel, not my build, just a project I had for a little while. My plan was to bag it so it would be more driveable than this extreme static drop. It chirped the back tires inside the fenders on bumps, and the lower control arms were just a couple inches off the ground. (no longer on stock straight axle setup, it was swapped onto a '94 dually chassis)
