Looks like a "nice weather only" (show) truck. No weatherstrip visible at the rear edge of the glass where it meets the door.

As far as a write-up? It's custom bodywork; you're either capable or you're not. Honestly not trying to sound like an ass but it's not like there's a kit out there to do it.

You would need a demand to produce a kit. I like the look of the roof line and the modification but I use my truck as a daily driver so I would never do anything that would not be comfortable in winter. Customizing is a neat part of the automotive hobby the trouble is we all have different tastes so a major modification seldom warrants mass production as not everyone would like it. This particular truck is just about in the roadster category as far as usefulness so good for southern Ca. not so popular in New England.

Alot of old school hot rod sites can walk you thru the chop on the top. recessed window pockets or chopped glass and all that jazz. the doors look like there isn't anyway to have the windows seal up or even be flush once they reach a certain height in the window frame. it would be like this. sawzall the window frame and upper section of door off. plate and sheetmetal where necessary for strength. Then come back in and figure out how to make windows work. the cab would be awhole nother story trying to make the door jam smooth and work for windows as well.
