Routed improperly. So now I have to find and unplug anything the rest of the harness connects to, repair the bare section, and reroute it.

I'll say this. It hurt. And I'm not happy.

What happened?
I'm actually a little sad about this,
I was on my way to work. Cruising at 45 and a lady in a 2017 escalade turned left from the other side of the road. I jumped over a lane and a half and it just wasn't enough. I think she panicked and stabbed the brakes. I relaxed and let go of the wheel a split second before impact. Took an air bag to the face. Knees smashed the dash, whole powertrain got shoved back, firewall bent and shoved the dash in, body buckled on the entire pass side. I feel like I got punched between the eyes. My knees are pretty sore but I can get around just fine.
On Facebook, he hit an Escalade, they're both done for.

That looks like one helluva hit... glad you're OK. Prayers sent for a fast recovery.

I never blacked out. After I gathered myself I kicked the drivers door open and I had all my turnout gear. I grabbed my coat and vest and started directing traffic until local fire took over for me
Gawd dam that was a hell of a hit.
Yeah it was. I remember every little bit of it too. From the windshield exploding and dash popping to the bags deploying to sliding to a stop with bag smoke all over the inside of the car.
