Hi Guys,
I've finally got all the parts for my swap. I've beefed up my 9.5SF Rear with a locker/4:88's/Blue torch fab diff cover.

I'm just getting into the front and the IFS will be installed this weekend. I'll have a driveline shop deal with shortening the front driveshaft Monday. This leaves me with the 3/4 ton CV's which is where my questions are. I know it has been done a few times on OBS trucks. My questions are:

#1 The 3/4 ton CV's need to be turned down 2-3mm on the outer stubshaft somewhere. For the life of me I can't find out exactly where. I'm thinking the hub seal surface?

#2 I've read that length is ok/not ok?

(mine is a 97 K1500 6" RCX lift) The parts are out of a 98 K2500 donor truck which I have completely stripped for a SAS.

Everything looks pretty strait forward except the CV's. I'm not looking to fork out the retarded coin for RCV's. I've read all the FSC stuff and the swap seems to work better with the OBS Trucks. Im looking for anyone with experience with this swap, who can answer my questions. I know there is a wealth of knowledge on here. I'm just trying to keep my downtime to a min without any rookie mistakes. Cheers
