I also have HP tuners if you ever need it. Just pay for your credit and your welcome to use it for free.
Im really digging the Escalade. Looks like a well balanced suv.
How does the engine feel compared to the ole SBC TBI ? I keep wanting to go to a gen3/4 motor but havent for what ever reason. I think when Im done with this project Im doing now I will eventually.

Which places use the HP tuner? Was looking at Blackbear but they use a different brand, there is no comparison between the 6.0 and the TBI has 345hp stock only downside is you need to run 93, better mpg and it's really an engine you can just do a tune and be happy with the power, the TBI is a great engine gets decent mpg but power wise you need to do a lot to come close to this

I dont know what place uses them. I originally bought it so I dont have to go to those places . I do the tuning my self using hp tuners and there software.
The software changes ignition timing, transmission shift points activates features like displacement on demand. That will deactivate 4 cylinders in the highway. Allows users to use larger Mafs injectors different wheel sizes for speedo corrections ect.
Great tool to own. I just recently purchased a 05 Jeep liberty . Hp tuners works with all domestic cars for the most part. It will do things the dealers TechII scanner wont do.
You can also down load different tunes from hp tuners library that are made by the company, forum users or gm.
I can only imagine I remember how it was when I went from a v6 tbi motor to my 97 vortec. The v6 v8 are very similar in power so I can only imagine you going from the tahoe to the escalade . Ive never driven a new gen 3 motor .
Its defiantly looks bad ass . There is not shortage of upgrades.
What are your plans . Keep it stock . lift it , larger tires , engine mods?
My only fear with a nice new truck would be hurting it.
Truck I have now im not afraid to go in the woods , build on it . Something like that I wouldnt.

I'll have to look into that tuner and compare the gains to the BB tune and let u know if I need it, this time I'm gonna keep it simple, kept the rims from the Tahoe, planning on tinting the front two windows, LED tails, some type of exhaust either a kit or just swap in a muffler and tip, throw on a different intake tube and leave the factory intake box, pickup an OEM radio with the aux input, do some maintenance and a few odds an ends and call it a day

Man I need to put some of those back up bulbs in my truck. Nice Cadi. by the way. I love the fact that Cadi uses the best engines and trans set ups.
