You might be able to fix the wipers yourself.
My wipers stopped working in my 92 and I was able to take apart the pulse board and re-solder the connections on the board and got them working again.
I believe it was a common problem on some of the earlier gmt400s, though IDK about 96 and newer.

I still haven't replaced it so I'll see if I can fix it instead, thanks.

Idk if you've tried this but on my truck the wipers don't work sometimes. I turn them on full power then go under the hood and tap on the motor box thing. Normally gets them working again

My wipers work but randomly quit and than randomly start working again, sometimes by themselvs and sometimes I have to turn off/on the truck. I've tried just smacking that box and when I started the truck again they worked but who knows if it made a difference.
Problem is tho, this always happends when I'm driving and 99% of the time I can't stop cos I'm either on the freeway (illegal to stop) or on a road with nowhere to stop and I don't want to get run over by a semi truck.

Call me crazy but I actually kind of like the gold bowtie with the blue. No idea why, it just looks good.

Gold is a color that actually goes well with just about any color. It has been used for most colors in two tone applications over the years.

Thanks guys, can't take credit tho since it wasn't my idea. :)
I like that it breaks things up a bit too and it doesn't look need-to-puke-everytime-I-see-it-awful but it doesn't match with anything else on the truck, everything is blue, black or chrome/silver and I'm a bit OCD about that. It'll be replaced by a chrome one, it'll still break things up a bit but at least there is a little bit of chrome in other places on the truck.
