I need a set of torsion bars for a 1998 sierra k1500. I am doing a frame off resto on mine and the only ones I found were OEM and Dorman(would rather not use).

I would be into OEM by at least 450.00. any others out there.

the ones that were on my truck are not an option.

thanks.

I had to cut them off as they were rusted in, plus they had 136000 miles on them. they wear out plus I am going this far on the restoration so new ones looked like a good idea.

Could try going to a junkyard and pulling them off that truck then as magimerlin suggested: media blast and paint them.

EDIT: Just realized you said you were looking for new ones.
