I have one, it sucks, it's kinda neat though. I don't do anything with it lol. I bought it on a whim, got it to run on some naasty transmission fluid I had in a bucket, puttered around in it, and hauled it out to my dad's and let it sit there with the other junk lol.

Ever going to do anything with it? These things are so cool!

My dad lives about 3 hours away, but someday he'll die and I'll get the house, maybe then lol.

It's neat in a way, because of the patina and stuff, but a 6.2, half ton axles with 3.08 gears, and no overdrive sucks it on the road lol. It's less than stellar off it too.

Ah...someday. I anticipate drooling on the build thread whenever you start doing work on it ;) I love these and the K5s since my parents had a 2wd 1979 black K5 when I was growing up alongside dad's '88 K1500. A K5 is on my bucket list for someday....

I love K5's also, this one was cheap, 1,200 bucks two years ago. I bought it on a whime, guy said it wasn't locked up but didn't run, I knew I could get it going. But I pulled out in traffic once with it, and that was that lol.

I do keep my eye's peeled for a Banks turbo or 6.5 from time to time.
