I have a 1992 K1500 with a 5.7. I recently preformed a tune up: plugs, wires, cap/rotor button, fuel filter, oil change and a PCV valve. While driving, between 1500-2000 RPM (in any gear) I feel a miss or a spudder. Any idea what it may be or where I can begin trouble shooting? I'm new to this model truck, so any advice would be beneficial. Thanks!

I don't have to much knowledge on these trucks either, but you might of messed up the timing when replacing the cap and rotor? Just a thought.

Something with the CamRetard maybe? You could mess it up by not setting installing everything in the same spot it was before I think. If the timing isn't right then you should have a code for it. Idk if this is for the 350s or just Vtecs though. Whenever I bought my truck i had this problem and the timing was -15 I believe. Or maybe you're fuel pump might be slowly going out? I'm no mechanic by any means I always research anything before I tear things apart so this is just information i've seen while looking stuff up. I'm sure someone else will have a better idea about this though.

Check the magnet inside the distributor. If it's cracked it will probably cause the same symptoms you are seeing.

You didn't say if you had a misfire or other driveability issues before the tuneup so I would check plug wires and firing order first. Also 92 model should be TBI, check in the throat of the throttle body for raw fuel. These fuel pressure regulators tend to puddle in the intake when they start leaking and foul plugs.
