Eh I've had a bike before, just not for me lol he was referencing an Acura I found for sale near us, thinking about a different daily that'll allow me to let the truck become more of a project

Oh right on then. But yeah if you want speed even an Acura probably won't do it. They might have a little bit of pep but they are no race car either. If it's the right price though I'd say go for it they will last a long time if treated right and will serve as a good dialy

My Civic is so slow it should be illegal. I'm not kidding when I say it's actually dangerously slow.

Isn't the big gain with the tune just shift points though? In that case with my converter being what it is I don't see myself gaining more there

Your best bang for the buck is probably a tune. It'll make driveability order's of magnitude better, better response, better gear holding.

If you were to dyno it, with no other changes, you might gain like 10 HP, but it will feel alot better.

I'd leave the rest of the snowball untouched if you want to build another motor for it.

You can change the cam just be aware you are limites to about.500 lift without machining the valve guides. LT4 Hot Cam is a good start..

So I'm desiring more power.. I know I can benefit from blackbear tunes or maybe visit a more local tuning shop, but what about a cam? I've been doing some light reading and it seems most cams require some work to the heads regarding valves. I've also read there are a few that don't need further work, suggest me some?

Eventually I'd like to rebuild the motor and then it'll be more involved but is it even worth to throw some $200ish with mild gain in until whenever that happens? Goal is to be about 300-350HP when the full rebuild comes.

I'm looking for around the same HP maybe a tad more. ( 350-400hp ) I'm wondering if it'll take alot of dependability out of the engine. OR just convert to a LS.
