Has anyone bought those clear headlights, turn signal and corner lights? I wonder if they're worth the extra money.

Which ones are you talking about specifically? LMC sells a ton of lights for these trucks.

Without specific part numbers I can tell you this from experience, though. Most of the decent lights they sell are just Anzo stuff marked up a ton. For instance, part number 37-7350 on this page.

http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cd/full.aspx?Page=67

Listed at $129.95, plus the flat rate $15 that LMC charges for shipping, brings that to $144.95. They're Anzo 111004s. I can verify this personally, bought a set of them from LMC for my Suburban, and then bought a set of these for the red truck.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0015PPZMC

Same exact product down to the packaging, for $50 cheaper than the LMC listing.

Those are the headlights that I was looking at. That is some good info! Have you enjoyed your lights? Any issues with condensation or discoloration?

I like them a lot. They've been on both trucks for a couple years now. The only issue I had was brought on by my own stupidity... They come with little mesh stickers that cover some small vent holes in the bottoms of the housings. DO NOT remove those, they're on there for a reason. I found that out the hard way. Removed them on the Suburban and a tiny water droplet sprayed inside the housings at the car wash and exploded my low beam headlight bulb on the driver's side.

No problems with them at all, though. Fitment is great on both Chevy and GMC grilles. Here's some pictures I post of them all the time. The marker lights I use are Anzo as well. Part number 511032.

Love the OEM look Anzos!

Are lights the only thing that LMC just resells at a higher price?

Or is stuff like grills done like that too?

Lots of LMC's stuff is marked up quite a bit unfortunately. Factory grilles are definitely something they price gouge on. You can get them much cheaper from online dealer sources, like GM Parts Direct.

Also if you're a stickler for details, don't bother with LMC's reproduction grilles. The center sections are different from the OEM ones. The plastic is missing on the top and bottom edge of the bowtie on their Chevy repro grilles, and there's a lot more filler plastic visible around the lettering of their GMC ones. Not something everyone will notice, but it bugs me. I'd stick to factory when it comes to grilles.

To further elaborate: LMC doesn't make any of these parts. They're just a reseller. One angle they have on the market is they do hold a lot of NOS GM parts on certain items where they've bought out stock. Otherwise it's the same aftermarket stuff you can find anywhere, just usually at a higher price.

I've used them on a few things just because they're big enough that so many people have bought this or that from them, that they are a known quantity. For example I got my smoothie paintable front bumpers (w/"diesel" holes) from them, bought 3 total, all fit pretty well and looked good.

That is the case with most reproduction parts, there is a certain percentage of the item that has to differ from the OEM. Leaving out some of the space around the emblems allows the grille to look OEM enough. GMC grilles are way less noticeable than the GM grilles for sure.

Here's another one, Rockauto, is their stuff also repro? or legitimate OEM?

Once again, they're just a reseller. Rock Auto doesn't manufacture anything. They do tell you the manufacturer of the part you're buying in the descriptions, though.

The only way you're getting OEM headlights is to order them from a GM dealer, either online or in person. Rock Auto doesn't sell any AC Delco headlights for these trucks.
