that is interesting as the guys on dieselplace say none of them work on our trucks, i think it has something to do with the tach signal coming from the alternator and its not a normal tach pulse

I know that the tach signal is different, it referenced a different way to do it in the manual. Ill look it up in a bit, but im pretty sure the work around for that is to use the sensing tach mode which uses voltage to calculate the tach signal!

My system has two wires coming from the lock/unlock part of the receiver. How would I go about wiring that?

I wish the OP would have explained how he wired up the brake switch, I need to connect a wire to the white wire on the switch and I can't seem to find a way to get to it.

I'm wrapping up an install of a Crimestopper and I'm wondering if the dome light feature can be utilized even though there is no dome activation circuit on our trucks?

I notice if I ran the dome light relay circuit to the dome light that the 'door switch' wire and the 'dome light activation' wire would end up being the same wire and would most likely cause an issue inside the alarm. I assume the 'door switch' wire which also runs the interior lights tells the alarm when a door opens, while the 'dome light' wire from the alarm allows the alarm to turn on the dome light.

I wonder if anyone has attempted to add an interior light to run with the 'dome light' wire (relay circuit) and gain that function without affecting the 'door switch' security circuit?

It's not terribly important but why not get as much functionality as you can?

BTW I have a 1992 K1500, and so far the install has been great. I didn't hook up the tach by the computer, I used the pigtail at the coil. Simple spade connector hookup.

I'll pull my glovebox liner out and snap a picture of the location of the Tach wire for you in the next few days if that would help!
Can you please tell me which color is wire. I have a problem. My car turn on but starter stay cranking, doesn get signal that car is start. I try to put on output where is ignation coil but doesn’t register. So only think is that i find a tach wire where is pcm.
