Picked it up today at 2, CASE relearn was done, still runs the same but my code is gone lol. Didn't change my pitman arm, just put a washer on the one it had, didn't do an alignment, only charged me 60 bucks.

So, with with the switch re-soldered and everything, my cruise works, my converter locks properly and all is well with the transmission at least.

It's nicer to drive when wheel input=tire movement also :anitoof:

I still need to figure out why it's cutting out like it is though. It's not bad, but at cruise, every three miles or so, it's like someone quicker than actually possible, cut's power to the ignition and back on again.

I also just ordered a 2" block for the rear.. My banjo bolt on my caliper is rubbing the spring pack, loosening itself up. The block should be more narrow and kill two bird with one stone.

It could be the ignition switch harness. I picked up a new one at the junkyard for like 5 bucks and theyre pretty simple to swap out

I did blow a fair sized mouse house out of it last weekend when I had the dash out and found my other shorts. It also sat with the window down for awhile. It also has bad grounds lol. It's a mess, but it's getting there.

So, distributor cured the hitch in the giddy up, but then it was misfiring and running like poopy,

Probably because of this,

So after a ton of people not listening and telling me my cap was bad or wires were wrong lol, I pulled it all out, it looked good, was putting it all back together and noticed the soider harness wasn't hooked onto the locking tabs, pushed it down and was rewarded with this,

Close.. But no cigar lol. Pulled it off, pulled the spider up, dielectric greased, and..

Which at 75-ish mph gives me,

Which, with the steering tight and engine running well, makes the thing a pleasure to drive really, I'm quite happy with it for the moment, even though it's still a smelly pile.

This might come a little late, because you may have fixed the problem already. But I was having lock up problems too, and the thing that finally fixed it, believe it or not, was getting a new 4 wheel drive position sensor on the transfer case. I think the part was like $19 or something. It made the trans shift better, too. May not be the answer to your problem, but it certainly worked for me.

Oh, I've had a variety of thing's kicking me out of lockup lol. The TPS and the spider harness both did it today.
