Well as I'm currently deployed and about on my way out the fiancee has agreed to let me do some upgrades to the truck when I get back in about a month. I've looked around on the internet and haven't found exactly what I'm looking for. The plan is to use one of the overhead rear AC control ( one dial 4 settings rear cntrl, hi, med, low) from an SUV gmt400 and wire it up as a high idle ( low med hi) and use the rear AC cntrl selection as my glow plug over ride and off would be none of the above. Is it safe to assume the wire colors are the same as the ones that go into the HVAC controls under the stereo? Does anyone have a diagram for this switch? Or has anyone tried this? I know 88GMCtruck was planning on doing one in his 99 but I never did see it completed if he did. Any help is greatly appreciated
