Finally found me a Dana 44 HP out of a 78 Ford, my problem is that the axle is 5 lug, as per ORD, I need to find a chevy axle (6 lug). What would I all need from the chevy axle, just wondering if it would be cheaper to buy another entire axle or just a few parts.
I know a Dana 60 would be "stronger" but really, my truck sees more pavement than mud, I'm just tired of taking it easy on the front end and Ive built a pretty solid 14 bolt sf with 4.88's and a Detroit locker so I don't want to go 8 lug.
