I dont have hyrdoboost and I dont plan on making that change right now. I've been reading many threads about 1500 OBS trucks upgrading to NBS master brake cylinder from the early 2000s. I also read about some guy recommending that you should stick with your level and also use the MC from the 2005 because they are disc/ drums like our gmt400s.

Has anyone actually done this? Most of the threads I read about are from the 1500 guys and I dont know if it actually applies to the 2500 trucks.

Has anyone done this before? I have 8 lug on my truck with brake code JB7 if that matters.

Thanks
Nick

it looks like my front is a 12.5" rotor and rear drum is 15.48" or 15.30"

2005 1500 front of 12.9" or 11.9" disc has rear drums of 13.21"

I dont know if that matters.

i put the 2002 / 1500 on and the brakes are stiffer, but I cant lock them up. just like before, but at least i dont have to push 3/4 of the pedal down before the truck stops.
