so i have a 1988 K1500 with the 350 v8, automatic transmission and 127000 miles on it
the motor runs great with plenty of power and will burn rubber with no problem. it's got brand new distributor cap/rotor, plugs and plug wires, filters, a bunch of sensors, clean injectors, you name it.
the truck idles just fine in neutral or park, but when i go into drive with the brake on, it's like the engine slows down too much and eventually stalls.
if i stop at a red light and sit still in drive with the brake on, it will run for 20 seconds or so before it slows down and eventually stalls out. it does the same thing in reverse too, possibly even worse. i still drive this to work every day, i just put it in neutral when i have to stop in traffic
have you guys got any knowledge about this or what it might be? it's not a huge problem, but it's just annoying especially in traffic, plus it's bothering me not knowing what's up with it.
