When I had the BellTech kit in mine, we used those brackets as is. It'll look fine.
The thing that we did do though, & it's not in B/T's instructions, was to move the notch back in the frame that same distance.
IIRC, (It was such a lonnng time ago!) that was about 1".
Unless you remove those tabs on the housing that are for nothing once you do the flip, they will slightly touch on the back inside of the notches. B/T's, notches (& most other's, I would think. But I'm familiar with the B/T's) are angled as they move up to the top. It's on the occasional hard compression of the suspension when those tabs will hit.
That 1" move back of the notch won't affect anything on the front sides of the notch. There's plenty of room there.
...or you could just grind those tabs off.

Thats weird that they wouldn't compensate for the repositioning backwards. C notches are already done, so i'm not movin them! lol if I run into an issue i'll just cut the tabs off. I am stuffing some big tires underneath, and I just wanted to know that that 3/4 of an inch back wouldnt cause me issues.

Yea, that is weird. The guys I got the kit from are the local know-it-alls & they've been in biz 25 years. They've done a whack of 400's over that time. They're the ones that told me about that.

My sig of the black truck is when the B/T kit was in.

Plus on top of that, the pictures they include with the instructions are completely useless, black and white copied a hundred times, you can't see anything! They also give a parts list, but it doesn't say what each piece is specifically for. I'll figure it out though!

Hey guys, Im looking to lower my truck 4/6 on a 55 or 60 tire on a 16 inch rim or possibly staying the stock rallys. Im not going for crazy stance or anything but the real question is, will it rub? All suggestions welcome. Its a RCSB 2wd

Quick question. I just recently put a 4/6 on my 94 Sierra 1/2 ton. Notched as well. It now makes a ear piercing squeak from about 2-10 MPH on the brakes. Sound is coming from the rear. Didn't do it before I put the flip on. Any knowledge would be appreciated!

15", 17" or larger.
16" is kind of a strange wheel size, & really limited in this 5x5 bolt pattern & in tire sizes that will work.
235/75-15 is stock.
235/70-15 stock on some.
255/60-15 & 275/60-15 (stock 454SS) will work, but you're speedo needs recalc. It'll read faster by about 10%
255/60-17 & 275/55-17's are the same diameter as stock & won't change your speedo. They are significantly wider though. Gotta roll the fender lips, especially with BellTech spindles. Use McGaughy's. They won't widen the front track like the B/T's do.
These are the sizes I know that work
There's 18's out there that'll work too, but no experience here.
19's are another strange size. Not so much on finding tires, that's what Vette's wear, but it's the 5x5 bolt pattern that throws a wrench into the works.
Then there's 20's, & 24's. Little more than what you're aiming for, so no need to list.
I'm sure that other members have experience with other sizes, but this is just my first-hand knowledge.

After some thought, Im probably going to do a 3/4 on a 235/75/15 just because I still need to use it as a truck as much as I want to 4/6 it. Question is, will it rub? Im new to lowering trucks. Its a lot different than a Nissan S Chassis lol
