Don't mind the hard top. I put it on it to sell the Jeep so the top looked like crap because I never used it. It was primered so it didn't match

For the bed I used the rustoleum complete kit and it was alright, it was a two part kit a base and an activator. Ran out of liner, so for the tailgate I used rustoleum premix and it seems to be much thicker and working better than the two part. Colors look the same and the life of can seems to be longer than the mix it stuff.

The premixed stuff looks a lot thicker. But sucks that it takes 2 hours to set in between quotes.

Not my truck but my brother-in-law's beater car. Redid the rear drums; one side had the backing plate bent back. Both self adjusters were melted as one piece on each side, both sides were missing half the springs, drums were completely ruined, shoes were worn to bare metal and then melting. Did the spark plugs and will do the wires tomorrow and distributor cap. It was leaking about a quart of power steering fluid so we disassembled half the engine compartment to find the hose to the gears was shot. Put some decoy ducks on the trunk lid put a piece of 2x4 on the roof to make a homemade "light bar". Then some clay pigeons on the front window. I'll post more pics when it's all done.

Just replaced the spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor today. Needless to say after that I really hate the engineers that thought they should put the distributor on the firewall underneath the AC hose and electrical harness. Had to remove half the engine bay just to do most the work. That sh*t sucked more than I was hoping for. But it's done and truck runs much better and idles a lot smoother now.

Need some input/advice. I cracked the heater core hose adapter on the intake manifold awhile ago when I was replacing the adapter. It's not leaking but I would like to replace it. Does anyone have some suggestions for an intake manifold for a 98 Chevy 454. I haven't done any upgrades to the motor but I wouldn't mind the ability to do so in the future. Any advice or input would be great.

Pulled the bed off so I can replace the fuel pump. I originally planned on using ratchet straps to lift the bed up and off and it worked but was shifting. So me and the other brother-in-law lifted that off. Definitely not a two person job but got it done. Have to rewire the new plug in. It's quite bullsh*t that unless you have done this before to the truck you can't identify the pump stamp. It was a lot more work then what I had anticipated but see some opportunities to update some work

Haven't done anything to the truck since we moved. But rewired the garage added LED lights. Next step is to insulate and put up some plywood walls.

Just finished wiring the garage. One run on a switch was giving me the biggest fit. Ended up having to rewire all the way from the box to the switch. Wouldn't be bad if garage wasn't detached and the wiring is 50+ years old. But finally have decent light and enough outlets.
