I don't think there's much to be had by porting the LS6 intake. You can't split it like an LS2 intake and it's held back by the stock 78mm TB. I'd say either bolt on a stock LS6 intake or drop your pants for a FAST 92. Heads would do more than a FAST though, its gains are mostly up top whereas ported heads will come on in the midrange.

Maybe I'll just save the extra cash for a FAST. I'm trying to keep it kind of cheap, but saving for up the Z28 will be pushed back a bit since I need to fix my truck now. I'll keep you guys updated here when more happens. I thank you for all of your input and advice.

Haven't looked into intakes or anything yet, and I haven't ordered the sway bars either. I won't be installing them anytime soon, so I decided to wait and see if UMI has a Labor Day sale, so I can save some money.

I will be installing new front calipers, rotors, pads, and hoses soon, though. So, I'll finally have four matching calipers instead of two red and two brownish, dusty ones, so that'll be nice

There's a lot more to choosing a cam than just the HP gains.
Automatics need more cam duration than a stickshift vehicle + a little more lobe separation, to create vacuum.
Brake boosters don't like high lift/short duration cams. That can be worked around, but figure some more $$$ into the final cost of the cam swap.
The weight of the vehicle comes into play, too. Along with the vehicle's intended use.
A lumpity-lumpity cam sounds good at the Saturday night cruise-in, but can be a bear to live with on a daily basis.
'Supporting mods' would also include gear ratio & torque convertor considerations.

Thank you, I'm still new to nodding cars. I've been reading forums and build threads and what not for quite a while, but this is my first car build. I am undecided as to want I want the car to be. I would like it to be showy, but I'd like to take it to an auto cross or drag strip. I don't necessarily want to be the fastest at the moment, but I want to be be nice and to be able to have fun with it.

Look more towards building torque than HP. That's what makes that weight mass get up & move.
Think of HP as a by-product, a benefit, of building torque.
Hp is about how hard you hit the wall.
Torque is how far you move that wall.

I did it between school and work, so i didn't think to adjust them at all. I realized I didn't on my way home from work last night and I could barely see past my wipers. I did a quick adjustment in my class a couple minutes ago, so hopefully it's good enough to get me home tonight. Once I have them adjusted better I'll put output pictures up.

I think they're set a little high, though. I'll probably mess with them some more at work tomorrow.
