Very nice. I might have to do the same to my wheels. It's amazing how much the cats muffle the exhaust. I thought about deleting mine but not sure it's a good idea
If you plan on doing true duals with no cats or even high flow cats you definitely need at least single chamber mufflers unless you wanna stick 4 glass packs on it. This is for a 454 vortec I mean Idk why but they are loud as hell. I've ran every small block truck I've owned with just 2-1/4" pipe and glass packs and they crack like the general lee but the 454 vortec is just loud!

Note: If your exhaust exits all the way out the back your less likely to get pulled over in town. This was a controlled experiment I did in high school.

Windows are now tinted, looks great! I got 15% so it would match the rear. Hopefully I don't get any tickets now haha

So i've been noticing that when cold, the truck fires right up no problem, but if I go to start it up say an hour after I last started it, sometimes it struggles a little. Sometimes it just sputters then fires right up on the next key turn, but today it had an extended crank twice. I gave it a quick search and I guess its common on these Vortec 7.4s to do this due to issues with injectors or the fpr. I remember seeing the fuel pump and fpr being replaced in the paperwork, but since the engine was swapped after, I have no clue as to what may have been done to the current one. As long as it doesn't get any worse, i'll just eventually plan on upgrading injectors and the fpr to go along with a computer tune at some point. Until then, i'll continue to drive it as is because I have absolutely no other complaints with the drivetrain.

This truck is not helping my 3/4 wantsies.

I think you oughta run some PYOs (Duramax rims) with some aggressive tread, or are you gonna try and find some of those Turbines?
Not sure what I am going to do, I would like some sort of aftermarket rims with larger tires eventually. I like black rims, but not the Moto Metal style, I don't think they go well with this body style imo. There is someone locally selling a set of the 8 lug turbines, but they're 16.5" and a little overpriced, and its hard to find cheap/decent tires that fit. I'd probably go with 33s, or 285s. I would like something wider with a small backspacing so they stick out a little. Before I throw that kind of money at them though, I gotta sell the 6 lug ones I have at least.
