Ok so I had a 4l60e transmission laying around. Took it to a trans shop and had it rebuilt for my truck as mine was starting to shudder and 1-2 slip when shifting. (I used shudder fix alot in it). After it was rebuilt and installed I started getting a p1870 code and going into limp mode, it had very sluggish soggy shifts and when it was hot it had a weird thing where when you were stopped at a light you could let off the brakes completely and the truck would not move. you had to give it throttle to get it to move and it was kind of a thud when it engaged then. SO I pulled it had them go through it again. They installed the valve to fix the p1870 code and installed another new pump and convertor, which both were new before.
So now I have a slow to engage into drive, its about 3-4 secs before it engages and im getting a harsh 1-2 shift and all the other gears are firm shift as well.
After taking the trans out 3 times due to complications with the trans shop im about done dealing with them. So im looking to fix this issue myself. Ive read about the accumulator piston cracking and causing the delayed engagement, would this also cause a harsh shift?
