Clutch Bleeding Stupid Question?

I got the nv 3500 with internal slave i know a lot of people just gravity bleed them but the bleeder is recessed in and looks as if the fluid will run down the inside of trans and wouldn't that get on the clutch?

I didn't gravity bleed mine when I replaced the clutch/slave, just bled it normally.

Put a hose on it an run it to a bottle or whatever to catch the fluid. That will keep it from going inside. They have three large holes in the bottom of the bellhousing so even if some did get in there it would come out
