Heard a thumping going on the other day on front driver wheel. Feared a wheel bearing. Well, I jacked it up and noticed that the bolts holding the CV shaft onto the transmission are gone, excepting one. Not sure how to find out what size these are so I can put them back on. Perhaps the replacements would like some red threadlocker...

On both sides?? For now, grab one from the other side so there is atleast 2 there... grab another one out of it and bring it to the hardware store.... I don't know what size they are but that's the easiest way.....

sent from what use to be a great country...

I had a few missing from mine, I just pulled 2 from a truck in the junkyard, they match the rest of the bolts so it doesn't look like I got them in a hardware store.

I did as you boys recommended , took one from other side and went to hardware store. M10x25

Hardware store only had junk zinc plated class 8's for 3 bux a pop... I needed at least 8. Found Class 10 version , nice black color , on eBay , 12 for $12! Axle is now snugged back on, smeared some blue loctite for good measure , hopefully won't regret that when it comes time to work on the suspension !!
