The OHC from the blazers, etc will still work in the tahoes. I just meant to say that the OHC that you bought might not fit the DIC from the blazer (If you find the DIC only).
Also just proofread what I wrote, didn't mean to say "completely different mold" was just trying to say that if you try to retofit the DIC into the current OHC you have now, it might not look as good.
Ok. Thanks for the help man. I'm going to look around and see what i can do.

Small update, tranny went out. Had a new one put in. 2200$ for anyone who ia curious. Planning on ordering Led tails and third brake light. Also put a flow master dual in/ out 40 series with turndowns. Seems to have better throttle response. Plus it sounds purdy

Still on the list:
•led tails
•keyless entry/remote start
•rims(moto metal mo970 16x8)
•leveling kit

Thats about it. I decided it isnt worth the time and work to go double din radio.

Anyone know how hard it is to install this. Viper 5806V 2-way Security System w/Remote https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00H5XV338/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_V5sTxbM5Y34MN

Keep in mind i am pretty knowledgeable when it comes to electronics and i have also torn about my whole interior apart.. So i know this truck inside out....
