it started from a repair of the bed to a complete overhaul. first the bed was rotted out after the flares came off, then the frame was heavily rusted and rotted when the bed came off. found a rust free bed and really nice frame(tough in the NE). Going from soup to nuts now everything new or reconditioned. here is what I started with:
