It's not easy to use, I'll try to get a vid up this weekend. But, it does work correctly. It even has some 2 way functionality to force thing's on and off.

Thanks for the info, I just bought/downloaded this Car Gauge Pro and verified that it connects through my inexpensive ELM327 adapter.

You must be registered for see images attach

Seems like the program isn't too complicated to set up, I am first testing it on a inexpensive Toyota, looks good so far.

Found this link here helpful as well.

I never set or verified the CMP retard after replacing the intake gaskets on my 1999 k2500, hopefully this works out.

Will let you know how things go.

Thanks again.

If it does what it's supposed to I don't mind a bad interface. What specifically can do force on and off? Also what blue tooth adapter are you using? It seems that app doesn't like cheap ones, I keep getting an error.

I have a cheap 5 dollar one, it's working fine, the same one everyone has with the blue/orange sticker.

Browsing through it, it showed gauge sweeps, check engine light, running lights, headlights, etc.

It took me like five tries to get it to connect, and the engine had to be running.

Well I ordered a better one, so I hope that allows me to connect. I would really like to know where my cmp is at.
