Not a taller knuckle itself. The kit he has puts a spacer in between where the ball joint usually goes into the knuckle and the ball joint. It's a very stupid design if you ever get to look at one in person....

I bought a IFS 4Runner once that had them, they were alot different from what he has here. I've never seen them on one of these trucks, like you said, most kits use brackets.

This is a thought.....the last ones I had the "pleasure" of working with at my shop (was replacing customers ball joints) they where drilled a bit offset so it's a good possibility. They should have an "L" and an "R" on them somewhere if that's the case though....

I will look at them tomorrow and see if I cannot find something labeling left or right. Where would you recommend I start looking for spacers?

I have always wondered about that.....This shot right here I think says it all. That horrible angle that the spacer has leaning back. I cannot imagine that upper ball joint lasting at all with the joint like that.

What brand is that lift? Call them and see if they have upper control arm drop brackets and if so can you buy them separately. If not give Rough country a call. They, to me, have always been very helpful about just getting individual pieces of kits. Don't forget to get all the hardware from where ever you get the brackets from aswell... no matter where you get them from they may all look a bit differant in design but all do the same thing....

It's a Trail Master. I called them in the begining. All they can get me is the UCA bushings, no other part to the lift kit. I will call Rough Country.

Also how does a UCA drop bracket help? If you drop the mounting point won't it either push the ball joint out more if any or can you bring it in? Seems like it would go out but I guess I am not sure.
