Had a few spare minutes after work and gave it a quick wax, turned out nice!

When I got home, I found that the mufflers had been delivered.

They are smaller than I had thought. I test fitted them, and sure enough they came as 3" ID, so I need to get some adapters before I can use them, and for now I think I will just use some turndowns until I decide what to do about tailpipes, that should help keep the drone down. They don't quiet it down much, but deepens the tone a little. I made another quick video of it with them just sitting on the pipes.

On a separate note, it appears that my oil pressure sender is acting up. I noticed it seemed to run a higher psi than normal, but while making the video I realized it would jump around when sitting still and revving up, not really corresponding with RPM.

Oil pressure sending unit behind the intake probably has a bad spot in the transducer coil. Replace it.

You'll have to remove the Coil/ICM, and then buy AutoZone's (NOT ADVANCE'S, believe me) oil sending unit socket. You should be able to swap it by feel with some extensions and a U-joint. That's how I did it anyways.

Advance's tool is not forged and machined correctly. The round bore is not centered with the center of the hex. Unless they've fixed it (Talk to a regional manager about it), they're garbage. Check the tool before you buy.

Thanks for the info, I do usually go to my local Advance Auto, partially because i used to work there, and partially because the employees at Autozone are about as knowledgeable as a retarded gorilla.

So for sake of saving money, I am considering painting the rims black, and leaving the chrome center caps and trim rings on. I've always been drawn to black rims, and this way I can have a custom look for the price of a can of spray paint. I was originally thinking of using my Turbines, but I didn't realize this truck would have a FF rear and not a SF, so the spacers/adapters wouldn't work. :(

Far as I know, all big block trucks got FF rears. My brother had a 3500 work truck with a SF, it had a 350 lol.

I actually want a set of steel wheels for Pigpen also, I'm going to have them coated yellow.

My 94 k2500 plow truck also had a FF but only had a 350, so not sure what designates between the two.
