It should, but would be more pronounced at low speeds, similar to an out of round drum.

Update: Took the truck to a brake place to have them check runout, bearings I installed, etc. The guy told me everything looked great, and the job had been done better than most guys in his shop would have done it. So as good as it felt to hear that... it doesn't help me.

Still have a surging/pulsating with a slight grinding noise that follows the pulse when braking with light pressure only, and only felt under 10mph.

Any other ideas? This is driving me crazy :(

Was the hub surface cleaned where the rotors sit? Any rust will cause the rotors to not run true.

Did that shop check the drums or only the rotors?

It really reminds me of when I had out of round drums. It was most noticeable when coming to a stop under normal braking.
