I put a overhead console in my truck today which wasn't too hard. I went to pick n pull and every single freakin Chevy Blazer/GMC Jimmy had the standard compass/temp unit. Anyone here have a full functioned mode one that they have sitting around and want to sell?

So I bought my OHC almost a year ago and originally put in the US/MET and ON/OFF DIC in it which I never got working but at some point last year I picked up a MODE and US/MET one and yesterday I finally got it installed. Works great! Spent $60 on different colors of 16ga wire though. Made my own wiring harness and kept it clean, used the quick connect adapters for all the splits I needed for the Illumination, VSS, RAP, and the LED Dimming Signal from behind the radio. Used the ground and constant 12v from the two map lights, ran a wire to my grille where the temp sensor was, and it all worked!

Range seems proper to me, I usually fill up about every 250 miles anyway and with the guestimation from the Range it gives me about 270 from a full tank -- so good enough for me! Compass; Temp; Instant Econ; Econ all seem to be correct. Fuel used is 197 gallons which I call BS; truck has 194,200mi on it and no way since it gets 13mpg usually!

^^Yup 98 changed the fuel system to run through the pcm, in addition, the temp sensor behind the grill shouldn't be used, unless you don't want to use the temp on the mirror. It screws with the reading, I installed a second one

I have a 1996 K2500 Suburban.
Can you wire up one of the larger displays from a GMC/Escalade to work in a 1996? (Part #15082595)
Maybe I missed that is in this thread or another one and I just missed it.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks!
