My 1998 sierra 4wd has Bilstein Heavy Duty 4600 series in the front and rear. Who has used a 1.5 or 2" lifting block. I do not want to max out the shocks. I am also wondering if the ride changed much?
Soon to be attempting 275/65r20s

Thanks alot!

After looking on a few bilstein sites.. they say you can use 2 inch blocks.. so we will see. Haha

I've only ever bought Bilstein shocks for these trucks, and all of mine got a 2" block, they never topped out or anything that I noticed.

I know this is an old thread but I'll reply to update the info.
I'm running new 4600's in back and a set of factory 2" gmt800 blocks.

With the rear shocks disconnected and the rear axle fully dropped out the shocks are about 1" too short

Bringing up an old thread, but your saying they are functionally fine still? I have 5100's with 2" blocks and I feel they are too long and i feel i could bottom them out.
