Both armrests in '93 ecsb bucket seats are stuck all the way down. Is there a gentle way or some special trick to get them up or possibly remove them? Or actually is it possible this was just an option and my truck didn't get it? I've been driving it for 3 years now but we've had it since 1994. Drivers rest is getting pretty worn and I'd like to replace it but it sure isn't worth the hassle so far. I'm thinking they're not supposed to go up.

Can't you ask who bought it back in '94 if they were down? :D I think they did have some that were permanently down through.

Complete shot in the dark here, but I'll give this a go. Try this:

Well taking the pictures I think I figured out that at one time they went up @sewlow the Walmart seat cover is just to keep the seat clean from my job this summer.
1. Seats as they are
2. Drivers side
3. Passenger side
4. Ratty armrest I'd like to replace. I found a near perfect one at the local yard.

There'a a bracket that the post on the armrest fits into inside the seat. You'll have to work that material over top of it to be able to get at the backside of the bracket & see what's hanging up in there.
