I'm trying to figure out if the chrome tow mirrors that can out recently would look good in my truck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have attached a photo of my truck and a link to the eBay auction where there are lots of photos.

Thanks!

Not to be "that" guy but..... have you seen any non lifted gm400's with this style mirror? There are pics all over this site with them.. to me they look like crap on a non lifted truck.. they look outta proportion... those things are huge.... just wanted to make sure you've actually seen one with them on there... with a truck as dark as yours with minimal chrome those mirrors (in chrome) will end up being your focal point of the truck when someone sees it..that will be the first thing they notice.... I'm not ragging on your choice as its your truck to do with as makes you happy, but just giving you another point of view to look upon/think about.....

In that ebay link did you happen to notice in the pics... the add says 88-98 but not 1 pic is of a truck in that era/years range... every pic is in the 2012-2015 or so year range... shoot 1 spot in his add goes from 88-02. Then another from 92-98 then another from 88-98.... seller can not even get his info to match on his own auction....

We have some great "paint" and other program users on this forum that'll get the pic together for you when they can.... give them time though.. usually takes a few days for them to do it up...

sent from what use to be a great country...

Granted mine is a dually but here is what they look like painted black with smoked vinyl over the lens.

There are a few other people running them on stock and lifted trucks. They are pretty large for a stock truck. The K2XX mirror is larger than the GMT800 style towing mirrors as well. I really like my set, I think they fit the shape/style of the GMT400 better and look proper on a dually, plus they are actually a functional item for me since I basically am always towing with it.

I can't believe I never saw the replies! Thank you so much for doing the photoshop!

I ended up buying the black versions for 99-02, but are still k2xx style, and mounted them in 88-98 bases. plan is to lift the truck with same wheel and tire combo as bluex used to run. I already have the 6" rcx kit in the garage. ( I found a new in box for 650) First is to get paint work done, then put lift and all new front end parts on.
