Rebuild or New?

Rebuilding the stock 700r4 4l60e is extremely easy with the proper tools. I purchased a dvd that you for the most part follow along to, in a week I did my 4l60e. Only going at it a few hours a day . I never even opened a transmission before this. Its virtually impossible to not build correctly . You build a section then blow air to certain orifices and you can see if that section works or not. The clutch pack will move and engage when ai pressure is applied.
Stock type non performance type rebuild kits start as little as 160$ and go up. If you can follow along to some one on a dvd I would suggest this to any one. I will never go to a transmission shop again. There are even guys on youtube now that show you how to. If you go this route and get stuck your more than welcome to PM me.

I also got fed up with crappy rebuilds and learned to do it myself, it isn't terribly difficult if you have time
