As the title states...

When I'm running the A/C in both of my trucks (but particularly the Suburban) a few drops of water always leak onto the passenger side floorboard. It appears to be coming from the blower motor housing, or at least somewhere near that location. No coolant leaking, it is 100% most certainly water. It ONLY happens when the A/C is running, nothing leaks into the cab from pressurized car washes or sitting in the rain. Entire A/C system has been replaced fairly recently in the Suburban.

I've been doing some research on the subject and everyone seems to blame the screws in the wiper cowl. This just doesn't seem logical to me as my problem is definitely related to the A/C. If that really is the fix then so be it, but I'd really appreciate an explanation as to why. Any ideas? Anyone else have/had this issue?

It could also be the AC box itself sweating. Happens in high humidity environments, and there really isn't anything you can do about it. See if you see any water droplets on the box when the AC is running.

Check your drain tube under the hood. Might be clogged.

Will do, where's it located exactly? And what's the best way to clear it? Just poke something around in the end of it?

Will absolutely check this after I run it later today.

Mine does it in high humidity here in KS. I generally switch to "recirculate" when it happens.

It has definitely been extremely humid here, however mode makes no difference at all in my situation. It drips just as much in recirc as in normal mode.

Just a blow gun with air. It's on the passenger side firewall. It will be right under the dryer. Right next to the a/c lines. Blow some through it and it will tell you really quick if clogged
