Just put a pair of 8'' LED bars on my brushguard, with the positive wired to the positive of the High beam, and the negative runs back to a switch under the steering wheel, then to a ground under the dash that is shared with a bundle of wiring, it's just a ring terminal bolted to the body, i loosened the bolt, and sandwiched the wire between the bolt and body.
Here's the puzzler: It doesn't flicker when the key is turned and the engine is OFF, but as soon as i start the engine, it starts to flicker just enough to notice and be annoying. The headlights and any other electronics do not flicker at all, including LED turn signals and in-cab lights.
Only the bars, only when the engine is running.
Any ideas/suggestions?

I really wouldn't recommend pulling all the power for them from the high beam wire. I'd run them through a relay and pull the power either directly from your battery or distribution block under the hood, making sure to put a fuse in the line.
