Alright guys long story short, I bought a 1997 Chevrolet k1500 241,000 miles. Bought it from older man wasn't running good at all when I bought it. This is what I changed, Distributor cap and rotor, plugs, wires, TPS, IAC, Coolant temp sensor, fuel filter, and some fluids. It was running horrible then I found that last o2 sensor wiring was completely melted off. So I bought a wiring harness and wore it up. Ran good for a while but NOW every couple of days I'll crank it up and transmission will be in "limp mode." It will spit and sputter, can barley idle and only takes off in 3rd gear with no OD. I have to shift it j to 2nd manually. BUT once I turn it off and take the key out for a few minutes it will run perfect with no problems. Scratching my head on this one. Check engine code is 2 o2 sensors and crank position sensor (which was changed)
