94 Honda Civic Beater/DD/Rally Car

Figured i'd make a page for my Civic, just because. Its a 94 DX, 1.5 5spd, currently 225000 miles. I bought it at the end of 2012 for $200. At the time, it just needed exhaust work, and a windshield. I wanted to get something to run around in that got better mileage than my truck. The only thing significant I had to do was replace the head gasket, just due to some coolant getting into one cylinder. I had sold it to a coworker as a winter beater in the Fall of 2014, and ended up buying it back in the Spring of 2015 for less than I sold it for, along with 4 new tires and a battery, and have been driving it since. I have also run it in two SCCA Rally events, one in January, and one today. The one in January was a mudfest, so it was easy on the car. Today, it was super dry, and was quite rough on it. First some of the exhaust bolts snapped, and a strut blew. At the end of my 5th lap, the motor mount bracket decided to let go, dropping the whole drivetrain down to where the oil pan was almost hitting the ground, and broke through the timing belt cover and almost took out the belt. I cobbed it up enough to get home 40 minutes away. I've gotta say though, i'm not much of an import person, but for the mileage it has on it and what it's gone through, I'm really surprised it has held up as good as it has! At least the mount bracket is cheap enough at a junkyard or ebay!
