The real problem is that the car needs to sit back farther, but Uhaul's tiedown setup won't let you. Or does it? I'VE never rented one, but always seen the straps in the front.

I bought my first 3500HD. I gave $800 for it. It's pretty rough but has a great 8x12 flat deck on it. Just bought it because I've always been interested in the 3500HD truck.

420k. Monoleaf airbag rear. Bags are NFG. It has a big 12v compressor on the drivers side frame rail under the deck, which I am sure doesn't work because it also has a small 12v compressor under the hood. It has dual alternators. 6.5 auto 2wd. Front beam and leafs of course. The rear suspension is pretty cool, with load sensing valves and everything. It is like one big main leaf that only goes to the front spring hanger and then behind the axle it curves down and holds an airbag.

Truck has some really cool signs of neglect like the rear spring hanger on the left side has been eaten by the spring. Must have been left loose for a long time. Also, broken trac bar bracket on the frame end. I am going to toss a good used starter in it and see how it runs. Started is just a little too tired to get it running, which is why he parked it.

That used to be an ambulance I bet. The bags are used to let the rear kneel when loading an unloading the stretcher. Cool setup for sure

Definitely an ex-ambulance, the little black covers on the side are a dead give-away due to the side flashers and the extended roof cap. Pretty cool, never seen or heard of a 3500HD Ambulance.
