That, sir, is exactly what I as looking for!

I have the same for the 1996 C/K trucks if anyone needs it.

And yes, that big ugly brush / grille guard were part of the package.

I agree most were prolly removed by the dealership, either before sale or at customer request.

Or owners removed them over the years.

There are prolly lots of them rusting away in garages and sheds.

The one I am looking at still has it. And while I will take it off it will be put away neatly in case I want to sell it and include all of the OE parts.

Same with the smooth surface, 5-spoke polished Alcoa wheels.

I do wonder what the transmission "enhancements" were.

And I don't see a reference to a tow package or tranny cooler or oil cooler...

tow package was f44 not z71. m30 was different clutching setup and a higher spring rate on the servos. nothing too special it was more of a comfort.endurance shift design but nothing noteworthy. most had coolers but wasnt necesarily part of the package. its cool to know my 2000 z71 the ugly taillight covers were factory option, now i kinda wanna keep them

Here is the GM information for a 99 Z71 package Tahoe. Also the only two available gear ratios in 99 were 3.42 or 3.73. Looks like a G80 was standard on the Z71 Tahoe package.

I called the seller and asked him if he could send me a photo of the RPO tag in the glovebox.

Will look to see if it had the tow package, the g80, the 3.73's and the coolers.

F44 is NOT a tow package RPO. It is "Chassis, Heavy Duty"

Z82 is "Trailering Package (Reese Type Hitch) Provision for HD Trailer Equipment"
VR4 is "Trailer Hitch (Weight Distribution Platform) Equalizer Hitch"

Where are you located? If that brush guard is going for sale I want it. It's the only style I like. And it's aluminum so it won't be a ton of extra weight and still let's the tow hooks be utilized.
