i have a holley of some sort on my camaro race car. i finally got around to re jetting it.....as i took the front end off, a black plastic arm with 2 holes fell out, and i have no idea where it came from. i cant figure out where between the metering block or the float it can go. any ideas where it goes, what it does?

Just thinking of pieces possibly fitti g that description, from the front of a holley it could be part of the accelerator pump.

it MIGHT have come from the accelerator pump area, but i dont know

ah hah.....thanks. the youtube vid i watched to change the jets didnt have that piece. is it important? can it be run without it, just in case i ever lose it for good?

I'm sure it can be, but it's there to keep fuel from sloshing out of the bowl vents. I would keep it.
