na, its all good! lifes to short to sweat stupid stuff like this. it all works out in the end.

i finished rebuilding my first auto, for my 67 skylark. th400. it works mint! zero problems! im excited, it was soooo freaking easy. not worried about any tranny issues in the truck at all now. should be under $500 to rebuild and only take a few days after work. im almost thinking i want to find some killer deals on trucks with blown trannys and fix them and sell! hahaha

still gotta weld the cab and time pump, small list of stuff to do to the truck, might take weekend off and start on the truck next week.

still working on truck.....buick tranny i build works perfect! the truck suckssssss. getting the old panels out is not fun. drilled out the spot welds and hammered out....took forever. new one went in pretty easy....3 to go... then gotta cut frame pads and build new ones....then fix/rebuild tranny......want to just drag it outside and light it on fire. sucks not doing this in my own garage.
old and new...big hole where body mount goes!

I know that feeling! My cab corners are gone. My rockers don't exist. And mine e has been broke down in the garage for two months now.

ah no way! that sucks dude! hope you get her up and running.
Just needs an axle in back and a tcase. The only thing stopping me is the 24 hour retrieval process.
I've swapped a few transmissions, but I've always been too scared to attempt a rebuild. lol

So the house sale still a go? Still planning on moving to TexASS?
I was too until I got the GP. For what I paid I could afford to give it a try, **** it up, pay for it to get done right, and still have less into it than it is worth LMAO.
