Jeff ,
Im using a 6248 1mb ecm. I went 24x .
The ecm im using was to a 6.0 w/ 4l80e. Mines a 383 w/ 4l60e . Will the 80E and 60E pins be the same ? Do I need to change anything hardware side of things. Ive wired it up per your instructions as the 4l60e .

I am not familiar with the 6248 PCM. I have checked all of my stuff and I don't see any reference to it. The 60e and 80e are not pinned the same. Give me your name and e-mail address and I will send the 80e wiring info.

Name = Mark . We have talked in email a year or so ago.
I had a brain fart . 6243 is the service code from a van with a drive by wire lq9 or lq4 one of them have it written down. I positive it use the 4l80e and im using the 60 so
. My email is my SN at gmail. You sent me a 0411 sheet . Thats what ive used to wire the ecm now.

I love what you did with the white obs. Seen your name in the cartech books I purchased a while back. A quick search led me here. Thanks for everything you do man.
Maybe you can help me out as well.

How do I re pin the 0411 for use with a 4.8 vortec from an 02' chevy p/k that is being swapped into a 98' chevy p/k? Can I use the 0411 and still maintain working factory gauges and warning lights?

I have the original 98' 4.3 chevy p/k engine harness and the 02' 4.8 engine harness.

The 02' is drive by cable mechanical, will this make my swap easier? the transmission I'm using is the original 98' chevy 4l60e.

I plan on doing most of the re flashing myself with help from a friend who tunes. I'm mostly doing this to build my daily driver as well as be a learning project for me so I can know how to tune and service my own computer related projects.
